Szopienice (pronoun. Schopjenitze) is a district of Katowice where our school, VI Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace im. Jana Dlugosza (Jan Dlugosz General Secondary School No 6), stands. The history of this place may be not easy to understand, but we will try to do our best to present both the historical and contemporary image of this place.
